Special Voting Instructions Since this is the first nonpartisan election of Court of Appeals Judges, the voting process can be a little misleading, so voters need to know a few facts: Judge Wanda Bryant's race and other N.C. Court races will appear near the end of the ballot, on the nonpartisan portion of ballot. A straight-ticket vote won't cast a vote in judicial races. Please inform other voters about these important facts, we want to make sure that everyone who wants to vote for a judge gets their chance. © 2004.
